Hello.

We are Nikki and Lee. A husband and wife team. We celebrated our own wedding in a field in 2015 and that set us on a course into the world of outdoor weddings and events.  

Nikki : “I founded Fiesta Fields in 2014, marketing our wedding field and offering my services and advice to help other couples planning their own outdoor wedding.

Fiesta Fields is now five years old and has eight stunning venues, where we have hosted over 50 events. I can honestly say this was the best decision I ever made. All my fun in fields had left Lee feeling a little jealous so we started to work on a plan that could involve him a bit more.”

Lee : “Although I love being a graphic designer, a part of me always wished I had chosen a more hands on and practical career such as carpentry. Seeing Nikki’s fields go from an empty space to all the suppliers coming together to create the full picture I’ve always found really inspiring. People were always asking Nikki if she had tipis or marquees for hire and this got the wheels turning for us.

We’ve always loved tipis, they are such impressive structures. The off-white ones particularly, as they offer a really light and airy feeling inside.

Nikki : “Our intention isn’t to be a really big company. I have always really enjoyed working closely with Fiesta Fields’ couples and I’m still friends with quite a few of them. This is something I want to bring to Canvas & Light as well. So, we see ourselves as a boutique tipi supplier offering a very personal and high level of service. 

I want to continue offering other aspects of support. If people just want tipis, that’s fine of course, but if they are feeling overwhelmed with any other aspects, and want to offload, then that’s where all the Fiesta Fields experience comes into play. It’s the same planning team working across both companies and I hope this will be a valuable addition to what we have to offer.”
